Our distinction

At Royston we perform a wide range of diagnostic, interventional and surgical procedures. Regular financial investment into facilities and equipment allows our specialists and staff to practice their profession within a superior medical environment.

One of our latest upgrades is having AirFRAME installed in our facilities.
The AirFRAME is proven technology that provides more effective contamination control, delivering superior clinical outcomes for patients. In place at our hospital and our Royston Day Surgery Centre.

Currently our Royston Day Surgery Centre redevelopment is underway. This is a joint venture collaboration between Evolution Healthcare and a number of Hawkes Bay’s leading orthopaedic surgeons. With two large modern theatres and supporting services, our Centre will improve access for patients in the region who require orthopaedic surgical procedures.

Accreditations and recognitions

We are proud to be accredited against both national health standards and international best practice business standards. This ensures an organizational wide focus on quality and excellence.

Evolution Healthcare undertakes certification against the following standards:

New Zealand Health and Disability Services Standards (HDSS).

The HDSS enable consumers to be clear about their rights and providers to be clear about their responsibilities for safe outcomes.
